"I am not sure what the previous review is regarding, but it looks more like a review of Sequoia Elementary before it had made some significant changes. Irregardless of that rant, CHAMPIONS PRESCHOOL PROGRAM is a private program that runs out of a classroom at Sequoia Elementary. I had also heard that prior to this Fall, there had been issues with the previous administration at Champions as well. Currently, teachers Miss Angelique and Miss Sarah are phenomenal and the program is run by Miss Marie who is the absolute best. Our son has flourished under their tutelage and we couldn't be happier with a preschool program. We have experienced 4 other programs between 2 children and moving within San Diego and East County. Champions at Sequoia is the most patient and positive program we have been a part of, they use all types of inclusion techniques and products to ensure the education and enjoyment of each student. I highly recommend the current program taking place at Champions Preschool at Sequoia and believe the other parents with students currently enrolled would completely agree. Take your child into the facility and talk to the teachers, then make your decision. [01/28/2018]"
"Hi, sad to say.... but I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I'm Ryan Kissel's cousin, he is the school principal. My two little girls began school in the fall of 2016. I thought it was a great school, but I was wrong. Every assembly that's held to inform the students about school events, only 15-20 parents attend. At every assembly the school Principle has to be reminded about the events, the school is very bad organized."
