M Health Fairview Clinic - Tamarack

"I’m focusing my review on the care I received. I established a new primary doctor and the visit was great. He took his time to listen to me and I felt valued. All the staff were nice and helpful. As far as billing, I haven’t received it yet however they were up front with the billing practices in regards to preventative care. I don’t blame the providers for billing practices as they do what they are told. At least I was made aware of the potential extra charges and it was my choice if I wanted to address further medical issues."

"Avoid this clinic at any cost. I recently had multiple unfortunate encounters with this clinic that left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. Their providers and billing department have developed an art to convert your preventative visit into a regular visit and charge for the services you don't even receive or ask for."

"The providers are fine. The billing and coding department have mastered the art of McMedicine. They 'will charge for services you never asked for or received'. (Kind of like ordering a burger and being charged for lobster.) Of course Fairview will bill your insurance and your insurance will refuse to pay and you'll be stuck paying for a service you didn't get. (In my case, my provider agreed I never received the service. This made 'no difference' to the coding department.) It's pathetic that mindless corporations have taken over medicine and turned it into a casino where the house always wins."

"Be wary of discussing anything with your doctor about your or your child's health at a well child visit - the doctor asked about my son's ongoing medical problem, and we answered, then they billed us for a separate appointment. It felt very sneaky as we were prompted to discuss concerns - we will be switching back to our previous clinic."

"Was told to arrive by 2:15 with my 4 month old baby just to find out that his appointment wasn't actually until 2:35 because they now have a "built in 20 minute window for tardiness". Then my Dr. was 30 minutes behind. So what was supposed to be a fairly quick well-child check and vaccinations lead to almost an hour and no vaccinations because I no longer had time to wait. Very frustrated by the entire experience and process. And now I get to go back to get his vaccinations done a different day - can't say I'm looking forward to it."
