"This is a wonderful school. The owner and director care very much about the students well being. If you look at all the poor reviews, they took place before new ownership took over when the school was based out of La Habra. New Carden is in Whittier! I can’t emphasize how much my child has blossomed in a short amount of time, and we transferred to Carden in the middle of the pandemic. Carden has excellent teachers and staff! The extracurricular programs offered are parallel to schools which are often times more expensive. Thank you to everyone who is helping my child blossom into a responsible, smart, kind and independent plus collaborative young man. I love the Carden Family!"

"My husband and I are over the moon that we were able to find this school and enroll our Kindergartner and Preschooler! All the teachers and staff are loving and aware of my children’s needs and give me a report of their day each time I pick them up. With the small class sizes, I know my children are getting quality instruction and attention. I feel extremely safe taking my children there and they absolutely love it! Carden has sparked a passion for learning and growing. My 5 year old loves to tell me all about her day and will often walk around our home singing songs she has learned or speaking in French! "Carden Academy is a great school. After attending a catholic school for 2 years we transferred our son to Carden Academy of Whittier. Over that last 6 months he has flourished in their program. Their in-person teaching, small class size and methodology works. The teachers, office staff and directors are proactive in our son’s learning and personal growth. Though we loved his old school, our son is happier and more engaged at Carden Academy. He always comes home happy and with a smile on his face and something new he learned. He looks forward to school every morning. I honestly cannot say he felt the same way about his old school even though I truly believe it was a good school. Carden Academy keeps the kids engaged with fun activities, but the activities have their curriculum imbedded, (art/science/exercise/music) so that everything that the students do has purpose to it. It’s not just busy work. The teachers are there to teach and the students are learning. I couldn’t believe it until I saw the change in my son’s reading, behavior, energy, organization, material retention and focus. Great job Carden team!"
