"Please don’t send your child to the pre-school side if Ms. Freeman is still a teacher here. Essentially, this lady has a thick, mean streak in her. She is not the kind of caregiver you want around your kid when she’s the only adult in the room. That’s as deep as I will go. My eldest son had a negative experience with her that he did not speak about until he was old enough to articulate what she did. He always says “she wasn’t a good teacher..”. Also, he witnessed her treating other students in ways teachers shouldn’t. He was 3-4 years old as her student. As soon as he shared this information, I contacted the school in May 2022 and was told she no longer works there. Before my son shared his story, I remember and still acknowledge a positive experience with this school. The rest of the teachers I encountered were kind, attentive, and communicative about their interaction with both of my sons. Ms. Hutson was a warm, respectful, honest administrator."

"I will love and adore the K. Anthony school units (kindergarten and elementary) for my entire life. All 4 of my children attended the schools and learned, received African culture lessons and activities and life long friendships. Under the leader of Mr. Johnson, this was the safest and most nurturing environment outside of my home that we have ever experienced. I drove by the school at 8420 Crenshaw yesterday and it appeared abandoned......what is happening there?"
