"Didn't know what was wrong with me. Went to urgent care. Someone announced in the waiting room that it would be a long wait. As if anybody was going to leave....its urgent care for crying out loud. Then without testing anything the doctor sent me home to just take Tylenol. Two days later I was in the ER in Eau Claire because my liver was not doing well and guess what. Tylenol is bad for your liver!! I wish they would have taken a closer look"

"I am sorry to say my brother had two bad experiences with this clinic. The first time he went for chest cold symptoms. They did a strep test which was negative. Diagnosed him with a virus. No chest x-ray was done. He continued getting sicker and went to Mayo where they did cultures and xrays . He was diagnosed with pneumonia and nodules in his lungs. His next visit was in Nov. 2018. He had been feeling extremely tired and experiencing dizziness and shortness of breath. The female NP treated him like he was a drug seeker. He went back a week later and left frustrated with her again. He called family and expressed his dislike for the way he was treated. With the symptoms he was having and the lack of professionalism and treatment we recommended he see a civilian doctor the next day. He never made it to that appointment because he died that morning. The first thing she should have done was an ECG and maybe he would be alive today. He was only 54 and in good health until this. His autopsy said he died of fatal cardiac arrhythmia and had severe bilateral congestion for weeks before his death. I would not trust that place with my dog. They need to be accountable for the poor care they are giving our loved ones."

"Being a new enrollee I was apprehensive about the "hoops" I might need to jump through on this initial visit. My fears were put to ease immediately when the receptionist treat me with the utmost respect and clearly explained what was going on. The nurse and doctor were very understanding about any questions I had and made sure I understood the answers. Absolutely first rate personnel and attitude, friendly while maintaining a professional posture."

"Everyone is professional & courteous. The Drs. I've seen have always been thorough. When I go, I have my list of any questions or concerns. They're always good about listening & responding accordingly. I have always been happy going to the Rice Lake VA Clinic. I am very happy it's there for us veterans. I have no complaints."
