The Riviera Ridge School

The Riviera Ridge School is a private day school located in Santa Barbara, California, offering education for grades Pre-K through 8. Our innovative social and academic programs focus on preparing students for the future, with elective programs that allow them to pursue their passions and nurture critical curiosity.

At Riviera Ridge, we believe in embracing diversity and multiple perspectives. Through our signature program, Kaleidoscope, students explore the traditions and values of world religions and diverse cultures, gaining a global perspective that fosters tolerance and open-mindedness.

Starting from Junior Kindergarten, students learn about core values such as Joy, Kindness, Diversity, and Ethical Responsibility through literature-based units of study. As they progress through the grades, they delve deeper into world religions through hands-on activities, guest visits, and service learning projects.

In Middle School, students engage in service learning, ethics discussions, and a comprehensive study of Comparative Religions in 8th grade. Our goal is to empower students with empathy, love of diversity, and a sense of purpose beyond themselves.
