"A small park with a beautiful view. As are most parks in the Madison area. I believe this one's Middleton. Anyway that's it"
"It's a nice place to camp or a place to speed the day near the lake. They have campsite with power, boat docking with power, boat launch, tennis courts, bathroom with showers, and outdoor shelter roof with many picnic tables underneath. However, their camp sites were closed early this year and I don't understand why, as I don't see any reason those camp sites can't be utilized?"
"The park was well maintained and the lake is a short walk from the campground. The bathrooms and showers were sufficient and clean. It is a public park with a public boat landing, so the facilities are used by more than just campers. The campsites were very level with gravel pads and grass. No bare/dirt spots which is great when you have a dog! The campsites were close to a busier road, so you did get some city noise."
"A little close to high traffic, but the campground is meticulously maintained. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Nearby shower and lav. Overall a good place to stay if you're exploring Madison and want to camp while doing so!"
"I was here about a month ago for a single night of camping after a concert, and I had a fantastic time. It was quiet despite being not far from the road, and I loved having the water within walking distance, and there were plenty of picnic tables so I could hang out for a while the next day. The bathrooms were okay for a campground but nothing special."
