"Love the history the story behind this chapel and the place near the church but disappointed with the university especially since we drove from so far. The timing said open till 4.00pm we were there at 3.15pm and it was closed. Would have love to go in and pray."
"Exceptional! Exquisite! Astonishing! Beyond belief! This Church was brought to the USA in the 60's from France, it was a church there and it still is a church! This Church is dedicated to St. Joan of Arc (1412-1431). There is a spot in the church where Joan knelt while praying! There was a person giving "tours" and answering questions. The experience was unbelievable for free!"
"We attempted a visit on the weekend; unfortunately the chapel was closed. Still a beautiful sight and the green space of MU was lovely to meander."
"I have frequently stopped here when passing through Milwaukee, to get out of the car, wait out rush hour, and reflect. The building and surrounding area were restored and re landscaped last year. Though it is a working chapel on a Catholic college campus, tourists are welcome if polite and respectful."
"Tiny chapel with a very interesting history. It's located on Marquette University campus and hosts a lot of students on weekdays. The chapel was shipped from France first to the east coast then to Milwaukee. The level of engineering done to rehab the chapel is amazing. There are pieces inside that are hundreds of years of age and are very valuable. The tour guides are very passionate and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting this unique chapel."
