Essentia Health-West Duluth Clinic: Gynecology

"Two stars because the doctors do care. but good things end here with essentia genecology. I have endometriosis and finding a provider to actually help me is more difficult than I could have ever imagined. the "head" of the department left me more damaged than when he started. he gaslit me and straight up told me it was impossible for me to have any more endo implants. Well an actual endo specialist found more endo in the same exact place this phony claimed to remove them from. He just saw a surgeons charge as soon as I walked into his office. He knew NOTHING about endo, yet is the head of the department? ( he made sure I knew he was the head when i started questioning him). wait times are horribly long. especially for someone with endo which causes a lot of pain. I found a place that takes "emergency" appointments because they actually UNDERSTAND how much pain we are in! Then the doctors take DAYS to reply and the nurses answering the emails can't do anything to actually help the patients besides telling us the dr is out of town.. again.. I had to go to the ER from these problems and the GYNO they sent down to work with me TRAUMATIZED me. I cant even think about a papsmear without having a panic attack. On top of all this I have submitted complaints but of course nothings happened. I live in duluth and CHOOSE to drive two and a half hours away to the mn womens center in Woodbury to manage my endo and gyn health. You couldn't pay me enough money to trust essentia health gyno with my health."
