Reviews of Mitchell Park
"Visiting the Domes on a sub-zero day in January is a little piece of Heaven. The arid dome is bright and the air is crisp. The tropical dome provides warm, moist air and thick, lush greenery. During the short, dark days of winter, the Domes provides a balm for winter depression."
"Always an incredibly beautiful walk through the best park in Milwaukee. Nothing will ever be as unique or as serine as Mitchell Park Domes. I truly hope they don't end up tearing it down. That would be an absolute travesty."
"Love the Mitchell Park Domes. Such beautiful plants in a great domed atmosphere! Great icon / entertainment venue in Milwaukee. I’ve been in friends /family wedding pictures here. 30 years ago school trips(bathrooms haven’t changed!!) You can learn a lot here and while strolling in a great atmosphere."
"A great spot to see the desert and tropical plants under one roof. The greenhouse has a great collection of plants from different parts of the world and landscapes. A great place for family, solo travelers, plant needs, and nature enthusiasts. The architecture of the dome is spectacular. You get the unique and wonderful views from both inside and outside of the building."
"My grandmother loved this place. She passed away a few days prior to my visit here. She would have been happy to see it this year. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. A very unique attraction that this southern boy doesn't get to see too often. The admission is fairly priced. No where near my house can we go see such an interesting and beautiful spread of flowers & plants AND drinking a local beer while doing it! Don't pass up this place, it offers probably the cleanest air you'll ever breathe in your life!"
