Reviews of Shooter's Pro Shop
"A gun store is a gun store, but if you ask questions and get answers, that's a Pro Shop Gun store . The clerk was happy to answer and serve . I will return."
"Great great guys here... Tons of knowledge and very friendly and helpful."
"I have purchased a few firearms from them. They are always honest and fair. People need to realize how difficult California is to deal with and the DOJ is deal with."
"I've got better, and I've had worse. The FFL for gun transfers went up to $75 (from $50) this last April 1st. The ammo transfer as of beginning of May 2023 is $25. The owner - Jeff - is a pretty chill cat, though I've not seen him there lately. The girl, K something, seems to be hustling, but the boys are just... "the slow song". I was there recently, see her stacking what seemed like heavy boxes up against the wall, from a shipment they received - this tiny thing huffing and puffing, and the boys are sitting there, whistling Dixey... Most of them can't bother to spare a thought, it's almost like cats in the sunlight. Long, drawn out convos about this or that ensue while the customer(s?) patiently wait for the topic to exhaust itself. The phones, if you can call them that, are out most of the times - call in, you get to VM immediately. They've been "resetting" them, but to no avail. How hard is it to get phones working, I wonder... This has been going on for years... I read someone complain that they say open at 10 - that's just a suggestion. Laissez-faire attitude can't bother to show up on time, for what.. customer(s)? Pfffsshh.... whatever.. I'm 50/50 on this shop. I wish Jeff would come by more often, cause when the cat's away, the mice are at play. Mike and that K girl seem to have a bit of "the spark", but would it be enough...? Also, someone needs to update the place, it's like a dank decrepit rum bar for old sailors that reeks of stogies and farts, and the red leather is starting to crack with age.. It's almost as if time slows down and then, stars rolling backwards... Nothing moves fast here, except the K girl... So, if you're trying to be InNOut... git to some other place... well... better luck next time bucko..."
"I ordered my firearm almost 3 years ago. A Bersa .380. Everytime I go in, call or anything they play dumb and act like they have no idea about my order. I once got a call back from the manager, finally, but missed the call. When I got a hold of someone they kept demanding I tell him what the manager was calling for, but the manager didn't say, just to call back and told him I assumed it had something to do with my purchase. Then he asked me to call back when the manager would be in days later. I did. Multiple times. I still couldn't make contact. So basically this store has robbed me of hundreds of dollars and can't even provide basic information on my order. First it was it will be ready soon, then it's we have no idea. Then call back for the manager. On and on, excuse after excuse. No proper communication. So please take your money elsewhere. I'm hopeful to take this to small claims court. I have records of all of my contacts. What happened is ridiculous. I should have been refunded a very, very, very long time ago and shop employees shouldn't treat customers like I have been treated. I would appreciate my money back, it's all I've wanted which also employees refused to do even when I asked. You can't keep my money when you can't produce what I purchased. Bad business, very rude."
