"Drove down from LA to UC Cyclery in La Jolle to pick up a certain hard-to-find frame. Trevor was super helpful and spent a good hour walking me through some of the issues I might run into during the build. This was not expected, but helpful given it will be my first disk brake build, first Di2 build and first build with internal cable routing. In addition to this, someone else put in a deposit on the frame after I had first called, but before I was able to put down my own deposit. UC Cyclery called me, took my deposit and refunded the other person. This is above and beyond in my book because I'm not local and the other person likely is. While I was there, there were a lot of people popping in who seemed to be known on first name basis by the employees. I was impressed with the community it appears they've built. I wish they were local to me. Kudos to UC Cyclery and Trevor."

"Got my son a bike here for a holiday gift and he loves it! A few weeks after purchasing on of the brake cables got a bit frayed. Not sure if it was from us using it or something from an assembly error. I brought the bike back in and they got it fixed and back riding in one day. Excellent bike and even better customer service."

"Came in for a brake adjustment and afterwards could still hear the brake rubbing against the disc, I brought it back again only for the mechanic to say there were no issues, but I can definitely still hear the brake rubbing against the pads while I'm biking and also when I freespin the wheel. I understand that since my bike isn't a Specialized they may have less experience working with/adjusting it but I just would have appreciated it if they were upfront about having less experience with non-specialized bikes. Everybody at the store is very nice though and timely with repairs and communication, I just wouldn't recommend you come here if you don't own a Specialized bike for repairs"

"Friendly neighborhood cycle store. The staff is very knowledgeable and every one seems passionate about cycles. I have purchased 2 cycles and every visit t0 store is pleasant. Most recent purchased had an issue with tire , the staff was very helpful and helped to replace the tire under warranty. Lorenza, & Rudy both were very patient and helped us choose the perfect bicycle. The service staff is extremely knowledgeable too and they take pride in their work."
