Anthem Blue Cross

"None of the doctors are covered by EPO silver 94 in my area. I want my PCP near my home. I travel 2 hours to get my doctor appointment. It's a waste of time and customer service lies a lot about things such as this doctor covering you but later I get bill then they always said to me sorry this out of coverage. If PCP accepts my medical insurance but he/she never accepts new patients so I suffer last year and I think this year I’m getting the same problem. I give one more chance to your medical insurance. I made up my mind that in future I'll look for another medical insurance or if I get new medical insurance to enroll I'll change this year the right way. Sorry guys, this looks like you are making a fool of the customers and I'm totally disappointed with you guys. One more thing customer service doesn't know how to handle customer issues even if they waste my 2 hours and afterward without solving my issue disconnect the call. Never my call back and again I need to call customer service and describe everything to another customer represented from the beginning which help I needed and second same things happens continually three days. I Never given a bad review in my whole life you're the first guy who pushed me really hard to do that, so sorry except for a reality check now."

"Does not cover anything and claims that the provider or lab is not in their network even though they are listed as such. They just reject and refuse to pay so I have to file an appeal which takes time and gets lost. The worst I have ever dealt with, it is as if I have no insurance at all and I still have to pay premiums."

"This company is criminally negligent. I have an incurable disease and constantly run into issues with physicians not filling prescriptions or having to jump through a million hoops to get the medication my life is dependent on. Even after getting a prescription filled, the administrative side of this company constantly screws me over by refusing the doctors prescription a significant amount of the time. There is a good chance I will end up dead because of how difficult this company makes obtaining the benefits i pay for."

"I have found Anthem very easy to deal with. I've had several insurance "hiccups" this year and have made COUNTLESS calls to them. The customer service has gone out of their way to make calls for me and to explain things that didn't make sense to me. The issues I had were ultimately determined to be caused by UC Davis and not Anthem. I understand others have had issues with Anthem but my experience has been stellar. Customer service was very helpful and extremely patient. I recommend Anthem."

"I work at a dental office and I have been trying to get an insurance break down for two hours. I have been told by every person I have talked to that this isn’t their department. I’ve been transferred to dead lines, given out of service numbers and just hung up on. When I ask for a supervisor I am argued with and told that they would tell me the same thing. I feel very frustrated by how unorganized this company is and how there seems to be this sense of no one wanting to work. I wasted almost three hours trying to get this information and I’m still trying. If I ever have the option I will never use anthem"
