"I’m from Southwest Florida originally, fished my whole life down there and in the Florida Keys. So I’ve seen my fair share of salty tackle shop owners and how uninviting and down right rude they can be. The first time I set foot in Hogan’s the guys in there were super nice and welcoming and answering many of my questions as I wasn’t familiar with fishing on the West coast. I even bought one of their hoodies to represent them after my 4th or 5th visit. Honestly can’t say enough good things about these guys and this shop. Definitely do yourself a favor and stop in here next time you’re in the area."

"Our first time to visit this shop and get some ideas on a planned fishing day in Dana Point, CA. Quite a few staff working, milling around, as you walk in, greeting customers. The store was amazingly stocked with everything & anything you want & need for a great fishing day. We needed some live bait and was offered some "lugworms" which was kept in a refrigerator. We browsed around some more to check out fishing gears & accessories. The crew were very helpful, knowledgeable & courteous. We will definitely come back to this location on our next fishing adventure in Dana Point, CA."

They have a unlimited selection of swim baits, Reels, rods, clothing, irons, fishing line, just about everything you can think of, they have it. If you are anywhere near Dana point, it’s definitely worth stopping in."
