"Hope everything goes right cause if you have a problem they probably won't help. We found a tick on my four year old son on a Friday night. Took him to urgent care for removal and to test the tick. It tested positive for lyme disease. They prescribed us some medicine and, since it was off businesses hours, we had it sent here instead of O'Connell Pharmacy (our normal pharmacy). Well my son threw 3/4ths of the dose up after what was quite a fight to get it down in the first place. So I call Walgreens to get an idea of if that was an allergic reaction or if it is safe to give him another dose. One of those automated systems answers and there is no prompt to speak to a pharmacist (which is never a problem with our normal pharmacy). Eventually, the machine understands that I need to speak to a person and they put me on hold. I'm on hold for 30 minutes and then they hang up on me. I get in my car and drive to the store. I wait in line to talk to a pharmacist and her answer is "Call the doctor" and she walks away. I don't know the doctor. It was a doctor at urgent care. I don't even have a name for the doctor. Walgreens has the prescription so they have the name. But did I get help? No. No, I did not. I still don't know what to do with my four year old. I will never go here again, not even in an emergency."
"Thanks to a Walgreens in Houston (see that 1-star review) I had to get a prescription refill while on a business trip in Madison. Staff was helpful made sure I got what I needed. A lot friendlier than my local Walgreens!"
"I have scheduled for my covid and flu shots. The 2 times they told me I was to late 10 minutes and they asked for my confirmation number which I never got. Since I was late they refused to give me the shots. I went home again and rescheduled it confirmed but no number. I called and talked to the pharmacists he said ok. I went tonight at 6pm for 6:20 appointment and got told if no confirmation number can't get my shots. I'm done with this pharmacy and I will be moving my prescription."
"It seems every time I order my arc that there is always a glitch, either they don’t have enough or they read the direction wrong or they haven’t updated my doctors order. Is always something this time the prescription wasn’t ready when they said and when it was it was wrong ."
"I really appreciate going here when I can, but it is never for medication. For me, it is getting the chocolate oranges only available during Christmas time and looking at the poor knockoff toys. There is something magical about Walgreens. Other than that, the cashiers are very polite and I have never had an issue with them. Most of the products are pretty good except for the hair dye. Do not buy the hair dye here, I beg of you."
