Reviews of My bicycle
"Cameron is a super cool and personable guy. I came in with a 1983 Raleigh road bike to get it back on the road after sitting for a while. Cameron let me know how rare the model I have is and fixed my flats quickly despite having numerous customers coming in. Let me know to come back for a tune up and some new tires soon but that I should ride it a bit to see the issues. No pressure or sales tactics. Very transparent about pricing. Good honest work. Rode by recently and he pumped my tires up no charge. Great small business, one of those that really makes a neighborhood. We are lucky to have a good bike shop right downtown. Recommended to everyone for their bike needs, he has some sweet bikes for sale."
"When I first called Cameron and asked how much a tune up would cost, he insisted in seeing the bike first. He explained that each job was unique and he didn't want to under or over quote. After he got two of my road bikes in perfect riding condition I understood what he meant: one cost twice as much as the other, and yet each of those charges was more than fair considering the work done. Cameron has a clear passion for what he does and tries to understand his clients' needs as well as their budget. I would recommend this shop to everyone."
"Cheaper for a reason!!! I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing not one but two bikes from MyBike, and I must say, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The appalling quality of their products and their refusal to offer a refund left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. Within just a month of purchasing the bikes, both of them started showing signs of serious wear and tear. It was evident that these bikes were of poor quality and lacked the durability one would expect from a reputable bike shop. The seats, chain, and handlebars all because faulty. Hoping to resolve the issue, I decided to approach the store and discuss the problems I was facing with the bikes. To my dismay, the staff displayed a shocking level of apathy and indifference. Instead of acknowledging their responsibility for selling defective products, they tried to shift the blame onto me, suggesting that it was my fault for not taking care of the bikes properly. Their complete lack of accountability was truly disheartening. I requested a refund for both bikes, as it was clear that these bicycles were not fit for purpose and posed a safety risk. However, the response I received was both infuriating and disappointing. The store manager outright refused to issue a refund. Their refusal to take responsibility for the shoddy products they sold me is simply unacceptable. As a customer, I expected a basic level of after-sales support, especially when dealing with such a substantial purchase. But MyBike seemed to care more about making money than building lasting relationships with their customers. I must warn others against making the same mistake I did. Avoid MyBike at all costs, unless you're looking to waste your hard-earned money on subpar products and experience the absolute worst in customer service. There are plenty of other reputable bike shops out there that value their customers and stand by the quality of their products. Steer clear of this place and save yourself the headache and disappointment. *Response to owners comment “wrong shop.”- No it isn’t. The number and address are the same as the terrible shop I had the displeasure of working with. But nice try."
"I’ve been a customer of MyBicycle for years, and have nothing but great things to say. Cameron has always been up front and fair with his pricing. I never have to wait long after an appointment to get my bike back, and it’s always in great condition. Cameron knows so much about vintage, cruisers, and road bikes! He’s even started working on electric bikes here and there, which is rare, and I know those require a lot of extra care and time. Either way, my bikes haven’t ever had such great care, before! I highly recommend setting up an appointment for your bike needs!"
