"This was my first time here and my experience was great, the place is big and spacious with all your needs for the outdoors. It has very good quality stuff from bikes, jackets, sports wear, equipment, even dried food for those wild outdoor excursions. The staff are friendly and not pushy and always greet you and help you. I loved the benefits of the Co-Op member rewards program that I signed up and now im a lifetime member. Overall good experience and the location is visually appealing."

"Customer service is awful. One of the male cashiers here is a huge D word. Also, crazy that we were being followed and stared at by staff. Never had this experience before at an REI. They bug you for donations like it’s coming out of their own pockets. Sorry I don’t want to fund a corporation to get a tax break. Provide a mission like parks project, and THEN we can talk."

"I used to come here several times a year and was a loyal customer to REI, practically free marketing for them but I never recommend them anymore. I was told by employees when I would make a purchase here that I could return any item within a year of purchase if it’s still in good condition, however, similar to another customer’s experience in these reviews, the cashier I was working with (who didn’t seem to want to be there) scrutinized my items and said I had nothing I could return. This had never happened in the past. Even after she said no, she called her manager over for support in her decision. She said they couldn’t be returned even if I used them once. I went to the outlet (which the main store didn’t even give as an option, but I knew as a member I could return items there too if the main store didn’t approve of the condition), the employee there asked why I hadn’t returned them at the main store because they were in excellent condition. I explained what had happened and they tried to help me out by calling the main store. It seemed they had their hands tied behind their back with these specific employees and told me it would be best to try returning my items at a different location entirely due to my experience here. Overall, I felt like I was treated unfairly and with distrust for wanting to return anything at all. I have not purchased anything here in over a year due to that experience. I used to ask for gift cards for this place on my bday and Christmas, but I could care less about this establishment now. If you’re gonna buy anything, I’d recommend equipment over clothing."

"Great place to find a good deal. Found a 4 person tent I had my eye one for a while at a great price. They have everything; chairs, clothes, shoes, tents, bike racks, coolers...everything you need. Stan was freaking AMAZING!!! He went above and beyond to help us out. I had asked a young lady for help but she was too busy standing around. Stan came over without me having to ask. He is for sure a superstar!! Great info and tips and best personality. He gets a 5 star review!!!"

I have been a loyal customer for years, and my membership has been a longstanding commitment. Whether it's getting my snowboard waxed, my mountain bike tuned, or simply shopping for clothing and hiking shoes, the staff at REI consistently goes above and beyond to provide exceptional assistance with a friendly demeanor. Today's visit was no exception. I took advantage of an outstanding sale and purchased a Thule roof cargo box at a remarkable 20% discount. Originally, my plan was to pick up the box curbside and install it myself. However, when the REI associate brought out the colossal box, it became evident that my self-installation idea might not have been the wisest decision. Perhaps sensing my concern or recognizing a fellow customer in need, Chris promptly informed me that, as a member, I was eligible for a complimentary installation. He assured me it would only take about 10 minutes. Chris was truly remarkable, providing a thorough demonstration of the system while efficiently and professionally preparing the roof box for installation. With our combined effort, we had it securely mounted within minutes. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend this store. The customer service here is consistently outstanding, surpassing my expectations each and every time."
