"It would be -5 stars if possible... ive been with this company for over 3 years and my car payments are less than 4 hundred, when I called they told me my payments are supposed to be $500 + and that it's my fault trying to shift it towards them, when they clearly failed to tell me it was higher for over a year but they didn't say nothing even tho I called every month to make each payment. Ended up paying 690 just for 1 month. Very little help and bad attitude from customer service. (DONT GET NOTHING FROM EXITE)"
"Great - doing business for 30+ years."
"I’ve been with Excite (formally Alliance) for over 20 years and ever since they were bought out the quality has been gradually going down. As other reviews said the great tellers left and the customer service is hit or miss. Besides that though, what they offer is no longer competitive and i’m gradually switching all of my accounts to other banks that offer better interest rates. I recently transferred my savings to AMEX as they offer 3.75 APY and Excite offers next to nothing. I called customer service to see if they had anything competitive to offer and they don’t. Best they could do was 2% APY which isn’t forever and only for new accounts. Alliance became more tech friendly since the takeover by Excite but lost the friendliness. With nothing really to offer, there isn’t any point in keeping my money here anymore."
"I've been with Excite (Alliance) for over 40 years. Personnel (tellers) changed; therefore, personnel not as good as it used to be. It's a "hit & miss" when being served. One lady was so friendly and awesome but she retired approximately three years ago. Had a teller who never smiled and very "dry" that I didn't want to go to her. Approximately four months ago, I needed to change accounts; and I had to go to her. She was no longer a teller but has a desk job. Same disposition---not friendly, no smile--as if she doesn't want to be at work. Bad customer service."
"Been a member since c.1975 (under various former names, i.e., General Electric Credit Union). Have always banked with them. Financed over 10 vehicles with them over the years as they've offered me best rates. Staff is always courteous and professional; whether my business was in a branch office or on the phone. No complaints here. EVER! In my youth I had my share of financial setbacks and they've came through for me every time with personal loans, and again, with best APRs. Thanks to all current and past C.U. employees. You've saved me countless times."
