"I have been a patient of Dr. Narty for many years, valuing his exceptional care so much that I’ve continued to visit his new office despite the considerable distance from my home. His professionalism and expertise have always made the journey worthwhile. However, my recent experience with a receptionist named Kim K. has left me contemplating a change for the first time. Upon my latest visit, I was met with a level of rudeness and disrespect that was both shocking and unwelcoming. Kim K.‘s tone and remarks were not only unprofessional but also carried an unsettling undercurrent of prejudice. Despite my youthful appearance, the assumption that I or anyone based on their race might be on government assistance is not only offensive but deeply troubling. This was especially evident when, upon presenting my private health insurance card (which clearly lists my husband’s employer), I was questioned if it was “marketplace insurance, like government-funded?” Such interactions are not only demeaning but also detract from the otherwise stellar care provided by Dr. Narty and the team. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, the nature of Kim’s remarks and her approach to patient interaction suggest a need for significant training in customer service and cultural competence. It is crucial for all staff, especially those in front-facing roles like reception, to treat patients with the respect and dignity they deserve, regardless of their appearance or assumed background. In summary, while I have immense respect for Dr. Narty and his medical expertise, encounters like these make it difficult to continue supporting a practice where all patients are not welcomed and respected equally. It’s disappointing that the face of the clinic, in this case, detracts from the quality care and positive experiences many have come to expect from Ascension Wisconsin."

"It's a shame to give a star at all here! First, scheduling made appointment for the following week even though I clarified "so tomorrow at 12:40 on Pioneer road location" they said yes. NOPE! needed the appointment and it was made for a week later. Then they charged for primary visit that should have been free of charge and are refusing to refund it until the insurance payment goes through. So I am out the money because they are incompetent? On top of it all, two out of the three women at the desk were rude as hell! Unbelievable"

"Our family has been with Cedar Mills for close to 20 years. Within the past year or so everything has drastically changed for the worse. It takes 20-30 min on hold to even get through to make appointments, call backs are days late or don’t happen even for essential medical care or info! Last time we had a scheduled appointment we waited no less than 30 min to be seen. I already spoke to a Patient Advocate. She had the clinic manager call me and to no surprise, when I went to return her call, couldn’t get through. Followed up w phone message to the advocate and didn’t get a call back there either. Reading these reviews, I’m not the only one. I understand staffing issues are tough all over but medical care is important. My child has a medical condition. We need better than this! If Cedar Mills no longer can provide us with reasonable care, why not refer us to someone who will?"

"Not sure what is going on at this facility, but there is complete mismanagement and scheduling mishaps left and right. The only reason I haven't switched to a new doctor is because my boys pediatrician is 5 star, and my boys agree! Went twice for my son's college physical appointment , showed up and they claim that they called me to reschedule because my son's pediatrician was out on leave. Received a phone call from them once, and rescheduled however never received an additional phone call to reschedule the reschedule. Today my son had to go to what was supposedly "quickly" to receive a meningitis vaccine from a nurse, not even to see the dr. , and he kept texting me to say he was still in the waiting room, 45 minutes later than his actual appointment! I'm not sure what has changed, but this isn't the same medical clinic we have been going to for the last 18 years."

"I have had to call two times in the last week and had the same experience as others - you are important to us... there are more than five calls in front of you. Last time I waited over 20 minutes, and this time it was ten. I am unable to use the CSM Connect portal, because I can only verify my account in person at an appointment. If Ascension is wanting people to use on-line booking or connect with the clinic via Internet, which makes sense, maybe they need to make it easier for people to access it? Once I can actually connect with a human, the experience has been pleasant and helpful. So 1 star for length of time an 5 stars for service."
