Reviews of Accion Opportunity Fund
"Horrible service they don’t communicate with the customer whats going on with their account and balance. They are money greedy and try to get you to pay extra with interests."
"Please don't be late paying them. They will not wave any fees! I think this is poor customer service! My loan is over half way paid off. I have NEVER been late and this company does not have the ability to help their customers. The fee is only $10 and I explained to them and had proof of why the payment was late. I am very disappointed in Accion"
"This company is the worst, don’t use them. The loan officer was the most worthless person I have ever met. His name is Gerardo Campos. Stay away from him, he’s a crook."
"This company is here to help small businesses since they receive funds from different banks for that purpose, but they are useless, they do not know what they are doing, they are not trained, we requested a loan and after pre-qualification they told us that our Taxes do not We had income, how is it possible that they are seeing that in the Tax report we had to pay money to the IRS, and they come out with no income. In this company, those who work are people who do not have the knowledge of what they are doing or do not know what is happening, and it is not for nothing that they have such bad reviews. Banks that donate money to this type of entity should do an audit to find out what they do with the money they receive and why so many people are dissatisfied with their services. This is somewhat questionable"
"Stay away from this place, and I wish I would have seen these reviews prior to applying. I was speaking with a lady name Rosalinda and she is the worst person to deal with. She’s one person one day and turns out to be another the next the minute she finds out that she cannot help you. This company is full of it, because who doesn’t have other loans that we pay on. I needed this loan so that I can move forward in my business and helping bro, as well as pay off one of the loans that I was already paying. I mean it’s common sense to do that. It was only about $3000 that I owed on one of the loans. The other one is a monthly loan so I’ve been current for a year on that one. And another loan that I was paying weekly, I was gonna pay off as well. So, after me being upset about why they declined me she tells me that she was going to speak with the lenders and I thought well maybe she’s going to try and convince them to help me out because I’m always current on my loans. She then calls me and leaves me a voicemail and so I call her back and thought she had some good news for me, but all she did was tell me for 10 on the lender and let me go through while you were declined. She had like this nasty attitude during our conversation explaining to me everything I pay as if I don’t already know what I’m paying. So yes I told her listen you’re wasting my time because we are talking over things that I already know so what’s the point? Anyhow, the whole point of getting alone from these people as far as moving forward and building your business because that’s what the loan should be for. That’s what I wanted it for. It did turn out that way because they claim to help you and give you hope, but it was all just false hope. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE."
