"I would give negative stars if I could. I am pregnant and was advised by my doctor to get specific vaccines, including RSV. There is only one kind of RSV vaccine approved for use during pregnancy and the first location I went to said they were out but Miller Park had it available. I made an appointment and arrived at my scheduled time. Rather than approach me to discuss it, the pharmacist shouted from behind the back counter that she would not be giving me a vaccine today because I am under 60 years old. I replied that I am pregnant and my doctor advised me to get one. She said well I only have one box in the freezer and it can't be frozen so I can't use it. I asked if she could help me find a different location. She then shouted that she wouldn't give me a vaccine even if she had one because she previously "worked in a NICU" and it is not needed. I am heavily pregnant and at this point left crying while she was still yelling."
"This is a long one, but honestly the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. Pharmacist told me that my prescription wasn't ready (order sent in at 11am, verified by my dr office, still not ready at 6:30pm) and then proceeded to tell me they weren't in stock and they had to order it and it won't be here until after Monday. I asked if he can find out if a nearby location has them as it's something I needed sooner than later and can grab it tomorrow. I also inquired about whether or not delays such as this are usually communicated to the patient in which he verified yes along with a story about being busy yet I got no communication about the delay (so we have to respect his time, but he don't have to respect his patient's time lmao) nor does the automatic service allow you to check on a prescription unless you know what it's called or have the prescription number - in which is nearly impossible if it's a new script. He went to the back and returned with a magical "okay so we do have it and it's ready (!?!?!?)....but...your insurance is inactive." I questioned that as I have not swapped insurance companies since my last visit and used it yesterday for medical care in which he tried to tell me that my prescription card is different from my medical insurance...which I understand but they are the same provider and if one was no longer active then both would be inactive so that makes no sense. He then made me wait again just to come back and change his story yet again to tell me it's covering one, but not the other (completely different than saying I have no insurance but ok dude, just like how you were out of stock.) Me, tired of the interaction at this point, told him it's fine and I will pay out of pocket because i cannot wait anymore. I also took this time to explain that I may have shown up before it was ready as I no longer receive any communication from CVS in which he blamed me for not being enrolled in their notifications despite the fact that before switching to this location, I was receiving texts and calls. Whatever happened to communicating with a patient about delays regardless? Upon leaving, I decided to read the slips on the bags where it was stated that the prescription apparently not covered by insurance was completed around noon today, but the one my insurance covers was only filled upon my arrival after I questioned the situation? Make it make sense because that don't make sense no matter how you put it. I would not be so frustrated if the communication from the pharmacist was honest from the start. A simple, "it isn't ready, try back tomorrow" would have been fine, but bro has to lie and change his story several times. Was he not expecting questions? I will never return to a CVS ever again, your pharmacists can't be trusted, apparently."
"It seems to be a struggle every time I come to get prescriptions filled. Often, they are not ready when they're supposed to be; wait times seem to be excessive. Today, on a Sunday, when hours are noted as 11am-5pm, the pharmacy was closed without any notice/sign indicating when it would open. It was about 1:30pm. So now will have to make another trip back to pick up. Each time seems to take multiple trips."
"The customer service has gone so downhill here. The male pharmacist is the worst. I've literally watched him on multiple occasions argue with customer's and tell them with no sympathy that their prescription is not there. My doctor sent over a prescription and it took over a week to get it. When I questioned the lady she told me to get a new doctor as they are the ones at fault yet I saw my doctor send it over. These people are so unprofessional I've never seen this pharmacy handled so poorly."
"Took almost two hours for a prescription to be filled (as my child was crying in pain). The guy was extremely rude and when I voiced my dissatisfaction, he told me that I was lucky to get my prescription because they're days behind. Customer service was a negative five. I will never go back."
