"Literally one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. They take 3-5 days to answer anything unless it's getting you signed up. Dan was my account rep and is passing on all responsibility nor trying to help. They do not fully explain everything and continue you to charge you after your term ends. I would never suggest work with this company. Look else where before making a decision."
"Worked with an agent here because I needed some temp insurance to get me through the next few months until the benefits from my new job kicked in. I told them I didn't want anything to do with Obamacare so they offered me a "short term" plan through United Insurance, which they assured me was a private company. The agent (can't remember his name) did a great job with explaining it to me and finding me a good alternate to obamacare, apparantley they are contracted with all the major health providers in my area. No problems with reaching them to cancel my plan when my benefits finally kicked in."
"Worked with Cristian from this company about a week ago to get enrolled for 2017. He went over all my options and help me pick the best health plan for my needs. Called him back this morning with a question and he got back to me with 15 minutes. Great service so far , highly recommend these guys !"
"HSK Insurance agent Dan Vaughn drafted payments from my account before the agreed upon date causing numerous late fees and personal financial set backs. I had requested a quote back in early May to prepare for my loss of insurance from my current employer. When receiving the quote I told him payments could not come out of my account before a certain date. He told me this would not be a problem and to call back to set up the payments in a few weeks. He then called me the next week and urged me that it was very important to sign up now.. and that the payments could definitely come out when i am financially ready. We did the prerecorded authorizations and he kept tripping over the dates, causing us to have to rerecord each agreement. Then low and behold the next week, 2 weeks before I had authorized the payments came out of my account. Dan said that he was very sorry, and he would refund me the full amount. I did not feel that the full amount was necessary, and we agreed that he would refund me the over draft charges. He asked for a place to send a money order. I gave him a location and he never sent me confirmation. I sent numerous emails and phone calls asking for confirmation to receive the money order and he ignored and never responded for about a week. then finally he responded and said that "the person who does that is out today and they should have taken care of it." Still providing no tracking or confirming information. Then I felt i had to call to speak with management. They said he was personally responsible for this and that the refund had to come out of his own pocket..Great, but unfortunately I don't believe that the way they have set up their company is my problem. THEN I received a threatening text from Dan where he told me to not contact HSK Insurance, that I am just causing problems and that he send me a "Visa Gift Card" and it should have arrived by May 27th. His story changed 3 times and either way, I have not been compensated for my loss of funds. Please do not use this insurance agency. It seems that there have been countless other issues with billing and charges when looking through other complaints. I urge you to not use this company or insurance agent Dan Vaughn."
"Very Poor Customer Service by Vanessa Vaughn Insurance Agent. I was trying to enroll with a different carrier as the previous one is going out of business, the new provider was going to double in cost so I wanted to cancel the secondary insurance coverage that covered hospital stays, etc. As soon as I said that to Vanessa she mentioned that is what she gets paid on and then preceded to terminate the call. I then called back on a different phone and she provided the number and then proceeded to tell me she would not assist me in enrolling with the new carrier. I am greatly disappointment with this lack of customer service."
