"Most inconvenient way to order prescriptions. Gap in medication put me in the hospital. No communication, no alternative options given. Waiting 2 weeks for medication is not ok. My insurance requires I use them or my medication cost out of pocket is ridiculous. Welcome to healthcare in America I guess…."
"It took a full week to get my prescription after it shipped. That much of a delay is completely unacceptable for medication. There is no way to track your order which is also ridiculous and you aren't informed of cost before they charge your card. If this next prescription, that was just requested, takes as long than I will be switching pharmacies."
"I have never in my life seen a worse pharmacy. I’ve had nothing but issues since day 1. It’s literally a 2-3 week process to get your medication refilled which is unacceptable. They were out of my daughter’s medication for several days and she ran out. They have no idea when it’s coming in. Didn’t offer a solution but to wait for the medication. Then if it ever comes in it’s another 5 days for them to process it and another week for it to show up at your door. I had to demand they transfer it to a pharmacy two seconds from my house because, hello it’s medication my kid needs, not in 2 weeks, NOW. But of course they close at 6 so now Walgreens can’t get it transferred from them until hopefully the next day. Another day wasted. They have absolutely no business doing mail orders. Shame on them and shame on Advocate for forcing their employees to use this mail order nightmare and force people to go without the medications they need. Absolutely disgusting."
"I agree with all other negative reviews of the Aurora medication mail order operation. Really bad and so opposite of the quality of all other Aurora operations. Recently switched to this service and both first and second orders were delayed with no contact at all from the provider. After allowing the required 10 day notice when ordering, I had to chase them on the first order, receiving medication just in nick of time. Another rep then told me the lead time should really be 12 days. Set up auto- refill for the next order with 12 day lead time. Called them 3 days before running out and learned they had held my order, waiting for my ok, even though the rep saw my approval message sent thru the Aurora system 12 days earlier. And worse, they could not ship for another 3 days. No contact from them at all, status updates , not even a call or text stating that they will miss the shipment deadline. I quit and went back to the regular Aurora pharmacy after my experience and seeing all the other negative reviews. I feel very sorry for those patients who are required to use this mail order service by their insurance providers. No way out…"
"They constantly bill the wrong card even though we’ve asked four times for them to remove the incorrect card. Had a diabetic emergency and needed something filled that day. They told me nothing they can do about it, they have ten business days to process my medication. Then proceeded to tell me that I can contact my local pharmacy to transfer but my insurance forces me to use them! They lost two of my prescriptions and then told me I would have to pay out of pocket. They need to track their packages or find a more reliable delivery service. My insurance forces me to use them, but there is always delays and problems and their answer is always “nothing we can do about it”. Worst pharmacy and customer service ever."
