"I've been attending events at Kleinpell Fine Arts Center for 50 years. Besides housing art studios for painting, pottery throwing & glass blowing, it has classrooms & faculty offices as well. The reason I've been going there is to enjoy performances by The Masquers theater group & other performers, as well in the Blanch Davis Theater. The building also houses the William Abbott Concert Hall, where no admission fee Coffee Concerts are offered at noon on select Friday's, with coffee & cookies offered after the program. I also enjoy hearing the St. Croix Valley Symphony Orchestra perform there. The next evening event will feature the Symphony Band & University Band, with tickets at just $8. It is a great venue with good sound enhancement, comfortable seating & nice decor. The Fine Arts performances & Artist Showing have never let me down."
"This concert hall is a hidden gem. UW River Falls hosts internationally acclaimed performers and composers weekly. Intimate yet world class. Music students seeking a truly exceptional music department in which to do their undergrad, should seriously consider UW River Falls."
"There's a weird orange wasp that made a home in the sidewalk between the library and KFA, 0/10 will not walk again. Classic building though, good memories, basement is cursed unless you like getting lost in the backrooms."
"My favorite academic building on campus. Lots of cool hallways, creepy haunted basement, theaters, gallery and studios. Too much Ag? Head over to KFA where the creative, arts kids hang out. You're bound to hear some free music coming from a theater or practice room!"
"What a wonderful way to stay in touch with the arts! There are new twists on old classics as well as original works. The UWRF students work hard to offer up a variety of performances, from humorous fun for all ages to romantic to serious to inspirational. It's all there, and for very reasonable prices! Performances include instrumental and vocal concerts, plays and dance."
