Qantas International First Lounge Los Angeles

"Friendly service but food grade was very average for FIRST CLASS? I have been to few lounges but this is probably the worst food I have experienced! It looks like breakfast from some budget hotels. Amazing how Qantas is charging premium prices for flights, but really cut back on costs and this will eventually damage the brand which already has!! I have switched to another one world airline and avoid flying Qantas any time soon!!!! Totally disappointed.........."

"Meet Bianca at the reception and she wasn’t too excited for any guest almost shocked to have seen us. Processed us without saying a word. The bar is nice with a wide range of international wine and good selection of cocktails. The restaurant service up good foods including prawn tacos, grilled sea bass, Angus steak. Furnitures are a little bit worn out. Overall, I am pleased with the experience at the Qantas First Lounge LA."

"I am beyond impressed with this lounge. This is the lounge in terminal 4. A big shout out to Norma Diaz who is super professional and who poured me a champagne. She was sooo friendly and kind. I observed her walking around and asking guests if they needed anything. Over the top service and she really made my day. A really genuine and caring person who clearly loves her job. Thank you Norma!!! I wandered around also to check out the showers - I have never taken a shower at an airport lounge and let me tell you these individual shower rooms are sparkling clean and heaven after an international flight. The lady attendant was sooooo nice. She showed me where the towels and toiletries were and we had a nice laugh. It’s the little things that really stick in my mind. Nice fresh fruit selection. Fresh watermelon and pineapple mmm. The spinach tomato eggs were REALLY delicious. The tater tots were also very good. Overall a very impressive lounge experience. I must confess I am very glad I renewed my Qantas Club membership this year as it is worth every penny for the nicer lounges like this one in LAX. THANKS AGAIN, NORMA DIAZ!!"

"Very large 1st lounge at LAX. Somewhat surprised to find dirty and stained upholstery on far too many of the chairs. Lack of power around main seating area. Half the menu wasn't available due to kitchen issues. I asked if they could grill the squid as the fryer wasn't working but apparently this was not possible. Very odd. What was available was good but limited. Wonderful selection of drinks. The showers were very clean and well serviced but no coat hangers or hanging space available. This is nowhere near the level of the Concorde Lounge at T5 LHR."

"The staffs here are very friendly. The meals are delicious. Breakfast menu are served til 11:30 AM, and the whole-day meal are served from 12:00. We enjoyed some breakfast and some lunch. If you have time for the whole-day meal, the dishes are all must-try. We like hamburger the most. The staffs here are uite attentive and friendly. The wines are also quite nicely-selected!"
