"The park beside the school attracts so many children. The parents and caregivers let the children know about distancing. First time did I see all children wear their masks. There is a disclosure that it is at risk to use equipment but some brought their own toys, wipes sprays and the children were still attracted to the best toys: dirt, tan bark, grass ,trees and squirrels and the brick bridge wall."
"This school is so disgusting! I hate it here. Everyday I would go walk by the play structure and there were these blasters that would spray me with slime :( The grandmas that lived in the gym are pretty nice ig :) Overall.. dirty, slimey, and nice grandmas"
"It wasn't until it was closed due to COVID19 that we realized how important this place is to us. We can take the kids and bikes there and burn off plenty of their energy, without even touching the car key. 4 small playgrounds and a pretty sizable lawn, this place deserve a special place in the kids memory."
"Looked like a nice fenced off little school in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Nice newer playground and a big field. Seems to be only asians here. I was shocked by how much trash was left on the field. I could not find any space there wasn't a wrapper or some trash. Back when I was a kid, the principal made everyone go out and clean. I don't care what the API score of this school is if they can't teach their kids responsibility and consideration for the community. At least no smokers or graffiti and we felt safe so I suppose it's a 3 star."
"Unlike the other two reviewers, my experience at Vinci Park was amazing. I still remember all of my teachers from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I also attended the small Vinci Park preschool next to the field. Kindergarten: Mrs. Carr 1st grade: Mrs. Escobar and her TA Ms. Pablo 2nd grade: Ms. Wong 3rd grade: Mrs. Obara and Mrs. Shem 4th grade: Mrs. Nguyen 5th grade: Ms. Tsoi I was never bullied, and even though I had a couple of conflicts that occurred sporadically throughout the years I attended the school. There was even a newsletter that Ms. Tsoi and a couple of her E.O advanced students, including me, created. I always had great teachers and amazing friends. More than eleven of my family members have attended this school. You just have to find the right crowd."
