"Great place to take your dog if he/she enjoys dirty needles ...my dog got one stuck in his paw from the herds of homeless tranq zombies that populate the park near the pavilion. Your car will be broken into while you're busy prying the biohazardous waste out of your dogs mouth. Thank you city of LaCrosse for cementing the fact that I made the right decision by not moving to this garbage bag town."
"Visited Houska park with a group to provide a free meal to the homeless living there. It is utter madness. Seeing human beings living in such a wretched condition in America is beyond belief. There is no single cause for homeless. It is a complex and multifaceted problem that will require a complex and multifaceted solution. With all of our material wealth and intellectual capital how can we be so complacent as to allow this level of homeless to exist. Where is that penetrating American intellect and our great leaders?"
"Fun times down at Houska. We had a lot of good times spending time with family loved ones and great friends. We would like to do it again even with all the homeless people there. Speaking of they we some of the nicest people I've met in a long time. The unity amongst them is amazing being they have so little. They would give you the shirt right off your back if you needed it. The only really bad thing about the park is the smell between the waste plant and the brewery. Other than that the park is amazing and beautiful. Not to mention the dog park that is right at the end of the park. Great people there too."
"The park is great itself. The regulars that go there are bullies. Literally had to leave the park because they were annoyed with my dogs playful barking... at a dog park. Said it was rude of me to let my dog bark around them... at a dog park. Also on the same day had a women complain because my other dog kept playing with her dog's ball. There were 20+ dogs there and apparently she thought my dog should know which toys were not ok to play with. I don't normally complain but seriously. Never going there again."
"I will always go to this dog park out of any I've ever seen. I love the option for the small park or the big park, and the included water is an amazing feature"
