SF Tikes Academy

SF Tikes Academy is a full-time, year-round preschool located in the vibrant SF Mission District of San Francisco, California. Our school serves children ages 18 months to 5 years old, including a Transitional Kindergarten program. Our goal is to provide children with a play-filled, social, and joyful childhood experience while preparing them for kindergarten.

At SF Tikes Academy, your child will learn essential skills such as the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, and more in a thematic, hands-on, play-based learning environment. Our students have the opportunity to play, make friends, and develop social skills in a group setting. We aim to nurture smart, aware, and confident children who can thrive in a changing world.

Our bilingual program offers both Spanish immersion and regular English programs, allowing children to increase their vocabulary and conversational skills in Spanish. We also offer a full-day Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten class for children who miss the kindergarten age cutoff or wish to stay another year before kindergarten.

With a focus on safety and security, our facility features a renovated space with modern amenities, including security cameras, alarm systems, and earthquake retrofitting. We follow the latest guidelines from the SF Department of Public Health to ensure the well-being of our children, teachers, and families.

Our outdoor garden space provides a hands-on learning experience as children plant seeds, care for plants, and watch them grow. We offer full-day and year-round care for working families, eliminating the need for summer camps. Our school year aligns with SFUSD, with breaks for winter, spring, and summer.
