"Our second trip here was a disappointing one. We began our stay on the second level with our server Jackie. She checked on us a few times, but had very little to say and almost looked upset to be there. We started with the toasties, 6 fried French toast pieces with syrup. Expecting a small appetizer, you could imagine our surprise when it was the biggest plate we had ordered, by far. They were absurdly sugary, and not one of the four of us could stomach more than 1 piece. Our dishes came shortly after, and nobody really had anything good to say about them. Details below. Our first stay here was considerably better, but the overall consensus from 7 people between 2 trips is that this restaurant is overwhelmingly average. $109.90 not counting tip for what we received is absurd. After paying we requested a receipt and never received one. Coffee 4/5 Hot chocolate 3/5 Classic mimosa 3/5 (nothing special) Toasties 3.9/5 (very sugary, MASSIVE portion) Breakfast sandwich 3/5 (ordered crispy house potatoes, were consistency of mashed potatoes) Eggs Benedict 1/5 (soggy english muffin, broken egg yolk, very lemon heavy hollandaise, and squishy potatoes once again when ordered crispy) New York Steak 2/5 (ordered medium came well done and flavorless) Bacon waffle + chocolate chips 1/5 (dry and Wayyyyyyy too much chocolate) For local reviews or travel content you can find us on most socials @SunseTourist"
"Enjoyed some of the yummiest tacos surrounded by family celibrating my dad's 80th! Everyone's food look so good . The server was wonderful in dealing with so many of us. 11-19-2023"
"We went on Sunday afternoon for brunch and the restaurant was full. Luckily, one table was just finished and we were seated outside promptly. There were so many options on the menu that we had to take some times to choose what we want. While the restaurant was busy, we got out food relatively quick (around 15 mins) after ordering. - Smoked salmon benedict: the portion was generous. The eggs were poached perfectly (the yolk still runny). They gave generous pieces of smoked salmon & avocado! The hollandaise sauce was good too. The hash brown was crispy but a tad too salty for me. A good solid benny! - Riley chicken tender & fries (kids meal): the four pieces of chicken tenders were crispy yet tender. The fries were good and had generous portion. My only complaint was that no one attending us to refill our water as the server didn’t check on us. Update: We went for Sunday brunch with our out of town guests and they were impressed with the food: - Maui french toast: BEST french toast ever! It tasted like churro with coconut & lots of macadamia pieces. The caramelized banana was super good! We literally had to fight for it! - Smoked salmon Benedict with potatoes: the salmon Benedict was the best they’ve ever had according to my guests. They gave generous portion of the salmon & the bacon made everything tasted delicious! The potatoes were good but could have been cooked a bit longer so it would be crispier - Chicken and gravy skillet with poached egg & hash brown: just okay. The chicken was good and well seasoned. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The hash brown was disappointingly soggy."
"Food was amazing! Very rich sauce on my eggs and my fiance loved the French toast! We might have found our fave brunch spot!"
"We've been to a few of these locations, and typically have great food and service. The food did not disappoint, but they did mess up my wife's drink. The biscuit and gravy may not photograph well, but very tasty. Extra gravy for the rice, yum. The double bacon blt was very hearty. We'll be back."
