"This place is right next door to the hotel we were staying at which was very convenient. City of Solvang closes super early but this place is basically the only place that stays open until midnight. They also have outdoor tables. We came at 8 and each got a drink. They have a limited list of wine, beer, and beverages. We sat down to enjoy the live performance by Jackson Gillies. Had an absolute wonderful time. This was Friday night. My friend had beer while I had rose. We had a wonderful time and couldn't wait to return. The next day, Saturday, places nearby had live music until 9 and this place was the place to be after 9. We came in and the artist was on break, however the person behind the bar told us it'll resume soon until 11 and $10 cover charge. I looked on the website and confirmed it did say $10 cover charge but we weren't charged the night before. Maybe they meant $10 minimum purchase? I'm sorry, but I'm not going to pay cover for a band I don't know when I'm going to buy multiple drinks with tip and tip the artist. For that reason, I'm knocking down a star."
