"Great boards from a reputable shaper based in Northern California. Terrific value compared to similar brands, and the more bang for your buck goes a long way. I used the extra budget to get a resin tint, which preserves the look of the board as it ages, and customized the Vernor TriPlane template to higher performance specs. The custom 'winged' rails have more foil than the base shape, similar to my Webber Afterburner shortboard. The tail is tapered and bladed, moreso than a basic Performance 2+1 Longboard shape, to promote insane maneuverability and verticality in the wave for a 9' board. I love riding it Single Fin with a knockoff Greenough 4a at Ocean Beach SF, where it catches everything, and within those 30+ second rides it performs all kinds of stylish and challenging maneuvers. Literally, it's become my favorite board. I highly recommend Vernor as a high standard to compare if you're in the market for a surfboard in California."
