Carribean Club Resort

"Room: room was clean but super outdated but still pricey compared to other resorts. The location is right by everything which is wonderful. Due to it being "private" owners they expect you to become a cleaning service. I didn't like this at all, at this price CLEANING should be the least of our worries. They leave you a laminated piece of paper letting you know it's best for you and your security deposit to do dishes, vacuum, sweep. I found this absurd. This is more than likely the reason all the dishes prior to us were DIRTY. When I vacation the last thing I need to worry about is CLEANING. They also expect you to shovel...we came in a snow storm.. needless to say my husband was outside for 45 mins. Staff: the lady who checked us in was really nice and informative! No complaints there. One thing that upset me is that this resort is they do not answer their phone.I called over 40 times since we booked.........I understand that it's privately owned... but if you represent yourself as a hotel or resort .. they should have someone answering phones!!! This pissed me off beyond belief. It took them 10 days to reply to an electronic message that was sent to them by me.... Pool: the indoor pool is small but does the job I guess. Overall I give this experience a solid 2.5/5"

"We rented 7 condos for an anniversary celebration with 30 people from MN & WI. Each unit is individually owned so each decorated differently. All were in good condition except for one where the bathroom fan did not work and the condo had a musty smell. The building with an indoor pool was perfect for our group to gather for cards, etc. while the kids swam in the pool and we could see and interact with them. The exterior is midway through a much needed update. Our condos were adjacent to each other which was perfect for going condo to condo and grilling by the beach. We had a wondeful time! A special thx to Callie and Dan!!!"

"The resort is nice, the main areas well maintained. The staff is wonderful. The condos are privately owned, so your experience is entirely dependent on how well the owner updates the place. I DO NOT recommend room 112. Tho a nice location overlooking the water and close to the pool, it’s a dump. Also bear in mind there isn’t a real professional cleaning service before you enter. The sheets and towels are changed and floors vacuumed, but that’s it. The instructions for when you leave say you must take the garbage to the dumpster and you must wash and put away all the dishes. Our room was so bad we went to several local stores to buy new pillows, cleaning supplies, and paper plates / disposable utensils. There was other people’s hair strewn across the place, stuck to the bathroom wall with old caked on hairspray and in the jet tub. The carpet was filthy, like it had never been cleaned. And by far the worst, thin spring mattresses I’ve ever slept on. Unlike a hotel, you can’t say “I want a new room”. For parents of young kids: the outdoor pool is great, but the indoor pool is a deep lap pool. My kids loved the beach and watching boats and jet skis go by. Besides the gross room we got, it’s a nice place, but because of the gross room, I’d never come back."

"We loved our stay at Carribean Club! Our condo was perfect. Clean and plenty of room for 6 of us. All ages 15 to 2 had a great time and enjoyed the pools and lake. Having the option of indoor and outdoor pools was great! It was quiet, family friendly, and the staff was great! Great location, away from all the Dells choas, but close to what we needed. We could have spent the whole time at the pool and beach. We will be back!"

"I’ve gone twice, once in February 2018 and again in January 2023. The first time I stayed in a one bedroom with a spa and it was outstanding aside from sliding halfway down the hill on an ice sheet which isn’t their fault…we had a blizzard. The second was a bit more cozy. My girlfriend and I rented a two bedroom two story condo with a fireplace in the living room and another in the master bedroom. My teenage daughter loved the bedroom and commented on how clean it was. Everything was spotless when we arrived and checkout was very simple. We treated it like our own and were charged the standard rate so no worries there. We will be visiting again. :-)"
