"I needed a gift-quality print of some art I'd made for a friend and the local artist community had recommended the owner, Scott, for the job. Emailed him the file and asked if he could do an art print on high quality textured paper and what he offered/recommended to that end. I was expecting a reply and a quote but heard back a couple days later with just a note that it was ready for pickup. They had printed it on ordinary paper and one heavier, glossy stock. Not what I'd had in mind, but they were inexpensive so I paid for them. The trouble is, both prints had black dots that were not in the digital image I'd sent them and so I wasn't comfortable gifting either one. Had they quality-checked, the print would have been alright. Don't go to a Pak 'n Mail for an art print, I guess."
