Mt. Olympus Resorts, Building 30

"If all you care about is location then building 30 is perfect. Literally right in front of the park, 5 minute walk to the entrance. However, if having a decent hotel is important to you then don't stay here. We booked 2 rooms for a few days and were told we would have early check in at 10. They gave us our complimentary bracelets that act as a key card to the room, entrance to the park, and "can be scanned at the park if you want to buy anything and it would be charged directly to your room"( I put that in quotes because it didn't work, and if it did i wouldn't want it anyways, that's so unsafe) we had all of our luggage so we couldn't go straight to the park. Our rooms weren't ready until 5:30pm. That's 7 and a half hours of waiting. No answer from the front desk and no call backs. Once we got our rooms they were very dirty, hair everywhere, dirt and grime on the tub, sink, toilet, and bed frame. The only thing that was clean was the new sheets and towels. We had a lot of bugs which I'm hoping were water bugs, no toilet lid, shower did not drain, and it smelled moldy. And the worst part of all, the wifi didn't even work"

"Amazing place to go highly recommend for families or just even friends trip. They have everything you need to enjoy and have a great time. My only con will be the the rooms, the room I had this time was the bathroom was like 1970s style bit. Overall, you have everything you need. Just make sure to bring shampoo and body wash, just your essentials and sunscreen."

"The area of our room was nice. It felt like we were camping since we had a wooded area behind our room. We had a nice little table and chairs outside our room which we enjoyed in the mornings with coffee and a game of Uno before we hit the park. And the location of our room was close to the water park so that was a Bonus! Unfortunately the indoor water park and theme park were closed and we didn't know that until we arrived. That was a bummer because we were looking forward to that. We still paid full price even though those areas were closed which was disappointing. The phone in our room didn't work so we couldn't call to have housekeeping clean our room or ask for fresh towels so we used them sparingly."

"$259/night non-refundable and that was with a 50% "discount." There's no coffee maker/shampoo/hand cream/etc that most hotels have for you. Had to call for new towels and toilet paper. Ice machine didn't work. The window in bathroom was mailed shut. There was no fan in the bathroom. There was hair and a gum wrapper in the ice bucket. The furniture looked to be hand built but was functional. Mini fridge and microwave were nice to have but for this price I could have stayed at a really nice hotel with great amenities. You get into their water park for free but that's not why we came down here. I would keep looking, this is not the place you want.."

"The pictures of rooms online are very deceiving and more than likely not one of the ones you'll actually get. We were very disappointed in that. Otherwise , of you don't mind staying in a 70's room with a green bathtub and dated interior the value for beds, theme park & waterpark is hard to beat. My family had a great time at the waterpark and theme park! This was our second time visiting this place over the years and happy to come back. They do need to update some of thier facilities but overall we had lots of fun with the many options of rides and slides."
