"Terrible place in general bugs on the floor. There was dirty towels bedsheets was not cleaned floor dirty. When u walked on the floor u would see the dirt on ur feet and blankets really dirty bed bugs worst hotel we have ever been to ac barely works to"

"Well since you can't review were at zero I reviewed at one. The rooms were dirty they smelled like urine. The rooms look and smell like they haven't been cleaned since they were built. I don't recommend it at all. They look nothing like the pictures. And don't even get me started on the pools. My brother found a bug in the towels. A man want to complain to the front desk saying that his wife put her hand on the bed and it was wet and smelled like urine. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"

"Do not stay here!!! Do not trust pictures! Absolutely filthy dirty sheets, dirty towels under bed. Never vacuumed. Smell is just terrible. Staff is unprofessional and... drunk!!!! People screaming and yelling outside the room all night. This place needs to be shut down for health hazards and bed bugs. How can this be happening in a resort town? Health inspectors come on!!!!"

"My boyfriend and I stayed here in June 2013 and this place was not out of some horror movie. First of all you must know it is now under new management and they were very accommodating to us. This place is in such a convenient spot too. There are way worse motels out there that I would not stay at. The outside pool was a little cold but on a hot sunny day it was perfect. If your looking to relax and not be around huge crowds of people then I would stay here, we had the pool to ourselves 3 days in a row. Bring all your own toiletries and beach towels. Also the free passes to Chula Vista gave us something to do too. Overall we will stay here again cant beat the price for everything you get!"

"Upon arriving at the hotel, the clerk/handyman was away and we dialed 0 on the house phone. Unfortunately, he had left his cell phone in the office, and we and another group waited 10-15 minutes before finally being helped. While we waited, we checked out the indoor pool. Both the pool room and the pool itself were unheated and completely unusable. After being checked-in, we were quickly stopped and given keys to a different room because apparently "something had happened" to the first room the night before. On the plus side, we had no issues getting the complimentary Chula Vista waterpark passes. The room itself was barely adequate. The floor clearly hadn't been vacuumed, we found a couple hairs on a pillow, and the refrigerator didn't work. As with the lobby, the room had a musty smell and has not been updated in quite some time. The heater, which is pretty necessary this time of year, was also loud, but was less of a nuisance than the party going on a floor above us until at least 4am. It has been almost 10 years since I've had a hotel experience that was quite this bad."
