"I saw Sky Rose Ranch on Instagram posting a ton of pigs. I contacted them. Ended up talking with Jared the guide. Booked a hunt. Jared was awesome from start to finish. Jared put my buddy and I on pigs from first to last light. Jared is also an archer so he understands archery hunting and loves guiding archery hunters. If your an archery hunter you won’t find a better pig hunt. Jared as a guide was first class and just a fun guy to hangout with. We stayed in the hunter lodge on the property. Lodge was clean, full kitchen and had backyard with BBQ and hang out area outside. While hunting you will see blacktail and elk so that’s a bonus in my opinion. My buddy and I both ended our hunt with archery pigs. Highly recommend and I will go back once I can fit it in my schedule."

In addition to being such an awesome guide, Jared is also very affable and takes time to answer your questions. He also teaches you about field dressing and meat care. As can be seen from the picture below, the Ranch, which is on the border of San Luis Obispo and Monterey Counties, is gorgeous. Finally, the accommodations are excellent."
