"Really good quality skates, however, the customer support is inexcusably poor. Will literally leave you on read for MONTHS despite several attempts to contact I've now had to throw a $2000 pair of skates out because they aren't useful for anything more than a paperweight. Really poor form IMO."
"Had the worst experience I spent 2k on custom figure skates and the guy made them too big and ignored all of my emails such a huge waste of money also incredibly uncomfortable and heavy, this guy should be shut down for ripping people off he is the worst!!! Learn from my mistakes and stay away"
"Why wait? My husband and I just made a trip from Dallas, TX to San Carlos, CA to pick up both of our skate boots- after patiently waiting for several months for the boots to be built. We have skated as a couple for the last 10 years, and we can tell anyone reading this review these boots are a great investment. Prior to switching to the Harlick boot, there were many “other” boots that we tried and found they were lasting us around a year before they were breaking down- we skate A LOT. The Harlick boot is where the breaking down issues stopped- Harlick’s lasted approximately 4-5 years of constant repeated abuse. After speaking in depth with Jason at Harlick, we found they use only the highest quality textiles/components, utilizing tried and true methods- I guess that’s what happens when you have 4 generations of family working together to hone their craftsmanship/skills. Please note that Jason was very personable and was not afraid to show us where the magic happens in his boot factory- We even got to see him build part of the boots that we were picking up! In his boot factory you will find that he is using machinery dating back to the early 1900s- NO automated/computerized machinery here! You will also find EVERY kind of pattern/style you can think of implemented into their custom boots- You must see it to believe it. Now for the best part- Our first night wearing the new custom luxury boots was absolutely sublime/outstanding/amazing- Absolutely NO pinching, blisters, or discomfort. How can this be in a new boot you might ask? Get Harlick Boots- I will never wear any other skate boot. If you find your feet hurting after an hour of cranking out jumps, spins, and footwork I can tell you something is wrong with your boots- Talk to Jason at Harlick he can mold your feet to ensure your boots fit PERFECTLY. I hope this review helps some of the newer skaters that feel like they just aren’t capable or maybe slow to learn such a skill- sometimes it is the equipment you are using that is holding you back. You can rest assure that Harlick boots will NEVER hold you back. Well worth the money!"
"I've been skating for a year now and I finally made the switch from Moonlight and Moxi to Harlick skates and let me tell you... SO WORTH EVERY PENNY! After a few months of skating my moonlight mirror balls, they got flimsy on the ankle support. I switched to Harlicks because both moxi and moonlight hurt the ball and arch of my foot after 2 hours of skating. I also got frequent foot and toe cramps whenever i would rink skate in my moonlights. I was custom fit and learned that I have a high arch and one foot is size AA and the other is AAA, so i have two different sized feet. Jason took a look at my old skates and asked which part of my foot hurt after skating. He then put my foot into a mold and customized the fit of my skate to help alleviate those problems. If you’re someone with wide feet, bunions, a high arch and your skate hurts after a few hours of skating… HARLICKS ARE FOR YOU!! They’re aren’t cheap but they’re an investment and definitely worth it. These are my dance skates, but i just put in my order for Harlick park skates! Jason will definitely take care of you!"
"Jason is a true craftsman. My boots are EXACTLY what I wanted and then some. SO grateful for his passion to quality boots. Andy and I are SO happy!!!!"
