"I went into the ER on 2/19/24 with terrible abdominal pain from not having a bowel movement for 5 days, (prior to that, diarrhea for 6, prior to that, barely going for a month). The PA referred me to a psychiatrist! I shared some with her how physical illness makes me depressed. Seems a catch all phrase when providers don't know or want to spend money to figure out what's really wrong. I disdain OMC, you had to know I was in "real" pain to even go there. I found out next day she told my pharmacy to use Good RX thinking I had no insurance. I have excellent insurance. Could not pick up prescribed med cause she did this, would've cost me above $25.00, my original insurance would've cost $1.36. Who is she to meddle with my insurance at my pharmacy?? They were ready to ex out my original insurance to use what she put. Wake up Robin, you're not God , just another Phacisican Assistance."
"Seen my main doctor yesterday for a Hernia. He told me to go to the Er if it got worse. My main doctor said to go have it surgically removed. They just put me on pain medication and didn’t do anything."
"Quite possibly the worst hospital visit I have ever had goes to OMC. Out of the dozen nurses to see my wife, 1 was kind and professional. The night nurses were awful. They would hang up the call button as you are trying to ask for something, and they were extremely slow or forgetful. It took over 12 hours to grab a bag of antibiotics. Plenty of time for infection to spread. Anytime my wife needed something they treated her like a second class citizen unless I was in the room. Place reeks of discrimination. Not sure how Rochester's hospitals have such bad customer service for being Med City. Asked to talked to the doctor and the nurse came back in 30 minutes saying she talked to the doctor FOR us. THIS IS NOT HEALTHCARE"
"Great staff to a point. Had surgery and was down for weeks. Billing department will harass you even before you are well enough to get the clear to go back to work. I asked for an itemized statement before I paid and it took them almost 2 months to send me a paper copy. They are terrible. Then threaten to send me to collections because of the past due when they failed on their part. 0 score"
