Sports Unlimited Campground

"This is a campground NOT A HOTEL. The sites were packed gravel firm and level. The sites have water , sewer and electrical hookups. There is a train track that passes by but the noise is not that bad and does not last to long. There is a pool and a golf course on site. We will be making plans for next year to stay there."

"Electrical had a bad ground, a lot of loud trains, but one good thing is it stopped about 10pm, campers before us left garbage thrown around."

"Spent a couple of nights here. Depending upon your site and rig size, the trees offer quite the challenge. Once situated, you will find the sewer behind your rig, bring additional lengths of sewer and fresh water hoses if you wish to hook up. Enjoying evenings outside is compromised by freight trains that fly by seemingly every 15-20 minutes! Beware if you have pets, as there must be a shooting range across the tracks which provides for noise and panic for your dogs from chronic gunfire. Also rather unsettling for most folks. Tried to hunker down in the RV and turn on the TV to help settle our pups... satellite doesn't work due to overhanging trees, No WiFi, no cable, not even off the air channels."

"Had a nice weekend getaway with friends. Sites had full hookup. Bathhouse was REALLY nice, hot water and clean. Yes, there is a train and it is clearly visible on the map when picking your site. The kids thought it was cool. Bring ear plugs. Plenty of room to keep a boat there for the weekend and the launch was right across the road, very handy. The sites are all gravel without any grass which was not great but I understand the reasoning behind it. We had a camping rug thing so we survived. Seasonal sites have grass but no one is pulling heavy campers in and out of those every couple of days. Dog friendly. Nice pool, playground, and volleyball/basketball courts. We didn't have a problem with loud people. Everyone respected the quiet time. We will be visiting again!"

"One of the worst places I have ever experienced. Full of drunks obnoxiously partying through the night. Was continuously harassed by some drunken woman to the point that the police had to get involved and charged her with disorderly conduct for constant threats to myself AND to my children. Management of the campground did nothing. Not a safe or family friendly environment unless you’re ok with your children being exposed to that kind of behavior. You couldn’t pay me to bring my children back to that unruly place. They say they have strict rules, but none of them are enforced. Fireworks regularly being set off, people hollering at your car as you drive by. Don’t waste your money."
