Fairfield Station

"Homeless camp across the street. Usually they don't bug you. I'm giving this subpar review based on the lobby. It's never open. The one time I got off the train, I saw a woman getting out of the bathroom, and I needed to use it. This woman opened the door and took one look at me and so, oh it's closed. The open light was on. I'm a paying customer to your establishment. Thanks a lot. Don't rely on this location for much. Friends have had issues with trains arriving at scheduled times, and use the restroom before you leave for the train, or before you get off."

"Nice station"

"Very convenient stop, but STILL need some help from your friends: how can one gets around from that new station? A shuttle to either Fairfield OR Vacaville...?Maybe a special program (last mile) with Uber/Lyft or traditional taxi service, if it still exists!"

"I get the minimalist ideal. I truly do. But this is a functioning train station serving a pretty wide population and it's completely unstaffed. Not even a vending machine, let alone bathroom. And, to add insult to injury, it's far enough out of traffic areas that it's time and cost prohibitive to eat or find a restroom before the train is scheduled. I won't even mention how many people get on the wrong train because there isn't anyone there that knows what is going on. It isn't Amtrak... These are the sins of California."
