Reviews of Placer County Museum
"Wonderful museum. Take the time to visit@"
"Great little museum, we learned a lot about the area and the indigenous peoples. A fun stop with educational value. It isn't big, but it's worth a stop."
"Pretty cool place to check out. We were in Auburn for my son's birthday, to check places out. The museum was a cool surprise in this beautiful town. It was cool to see the jail cell, old electronics that changed the advancement of human kind for the better. Old phones. Old medical supplies, and farming tech. A real cool place to check"
"I found the museum to be a very wonderful and lucky way to spend time while waiting for an appointment. The exhibits were very professional and well together. Towards the end was a wonderful film that was very entertaining to watch. Their museum covered such locally, relevant topics, such as growth of technology, the railroad, and the transportation of goods."
"Located in the courthouse, you'll have to go through security and metal detector to enter - no worries, the officer was very nice. This museum, located on the ground floor, is small but thorough and free. I loved the nod to Native Americans and the variety of exhibits. The Wanted bulletin board was very interesting to read. You could easily spend an hour here. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area"
