Reviews
"Sunfish lake park is a great, fairly large sized park with lots of great, well maintained hiking and mountain biking trails. The hiking trails are in great shape and wind through wooded areas and along the lake. The mountain biking trails are excellent. They can be fun for both beginners and more experienced riders. The nature center at the main parking lot is great and educational."
"This place is awesome if you just want to hike around or bring a bike to go ride the trails. I for one, love to take photos here. The lake is beautiful and it's usually pretty quiet."
"My Apple Maps took me to the other parking lot but I found the lot to the nature center. There are lots of mountain bike trails here. The nature center has a decent amount to offer as well. There's also a free little library here. I love the cute little painted walking sticks that you can borrow. Some of the trails don't seem to be used a lot so you can get a little lost. I think I was walking on a deer path there for a bit lol. Good mushroom spotting here. This park reminds me a little like the ones at home in Ohio."
"Great park with lots of options. There are several miles of mountain bike trails, hiking trails, and a lobotomy nature center to enjoy! Can get buggy so come prepared."
"Very interesting terrain and paths. Very close to Lake Elmo Park and a drive down a dirt road to the parking lot and nature center. Shared walking, horse, and mountain biking paths. A pretty spot owned by the cityn and quite a few places to look out over smaller ponds in the woods. Bug spray would be a good idea in the summer."
