Motel 6 La Crosse, WI 2150 Rose Street, La Crosse, WI 54603

"Hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. There was a huge gap under our room door that we had to shove pillows under so our dog couldn't get out. There were dead bugs on the carpet and hairs not only in the tub but on the supposedly clean towels. Furniture is seriously in need of an upgrade. There were also no blankets just a series of thick sheets that I didn't feel comfortable getting under. The front lobby was in disarray and there was no place to sit while waiting for other guests to be checked in. The breakfast area was not clean and in the morning the coffee was cold and there were no cups put out for guests. We booked this room for it's location and low price but we're instantly put off by it's appearance. It is obvious that the photos on booking sites are either of a different motel 6 or when this one was new, not at all representing the actual conditions. I have stayed at some bad hotels in my life, but this one was the worst."

"The staff was wonderful -Thank you! But our room was gross. Not clean and poorly maintained. The only reason we stayed was because we were exhausted from a very long day of travel and it was the only place that would allow our cats."

"The room and the hallway were very dirty. All outlets and switches in the room had no wall plates, the electrical wires were exposed. I would recommend you steer clear from this hotel."

"Very clean, beds are comfortable. I wish I'd brought my own pillow. The staff is outstanding. Knowing it is pet friendly, I was concerned about my allergies. I had no issues what so ever. Not an issue for me, but there is no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. Maybe it would be available upon request? As I said, not an issue for me Very affordable, location is nice. Not too far from the campuses and a $12 Uber from 3rd St. No frills, but it fulfilled its purpose. I would stay again"
