"The food was ok. I probably should have tried something different. The service was great. My only problem was the signage on the building ( where is it ) it said AU, but if you look down on the sidewalk, there's a small sign that has Chef Smellys written on it. Overall, I would go back."

"First time here and it’s an amazing atmosphere with staple mouth watering favorites eaten in the Black America and African culture. In fact, I’m from Washington, DC and just moved here…. This is the place to be if you just visit the Bay Area and are looking for soul food (wish I had come here earlier than now). The host is so sweet (the chef and owners auntie). She greeted me with warmth and love. I’ll be coming here more often even if I take the drive from Fremont where I live in Cali…. 10 stars across the board. Just keeping it real."

"I absolutely love Au Lounge. Uplifting vibes, comfortable atmosphere & friendly, professional staff. A well stocked bar with a solid pour, good music and a well used dance floor. Did I mention the two big screens and open patio? This place is one of my favorite spots."
