Reviews of US Certified Signers
"I wish I could give this company negative stars. I am an Army Veteran with PTSD but I have been working as a notary for 5 years. My business page has 80 reviews with 4.9 stars. I made a mistake on a home loan and I’m sorry that happened, but as humans we all make mistakes including surgeons etc. One or more employees from Certified Signers was calling and texting incessantly the next day when I was working my other job as a substitute teacher. Every notary I know currently has a second job because of the lack of real estate transactions. I obviously can’t accept calls during class. I did not have internet access to my phone and no computer on this particular day. By the time my lunch period came my anxiety was through the roof from the incessant calls that I was unable to answer. Another reason that most of us need a second job is that signing companies like this one cut fees from $125 to $90 for the same amount of work just because work is scarce and they can get away with keeping more than half of what they are paid by title for our services. When I was able to get in touch with them on my short lunch break I was told I had to take care of this right away. I wish I could have but the best I could do was rush home after school ended and take care of it then which I did and made the fed ex cut off though probably drove to fast etc. to make this all happen, but I did it. I was told I was causing the signers extra fees and thoroughly shamed. I’m sorry if my actions were a problem for the signers but according to them the title company had taken months on this transaction already causing the signers to have to extend their rate lock multiple times but they are allowed to make human errors and apparently I’m not lest I be blamed for everything. This transaction closed yesterday. Early today I wake up to a nasty message on my Facebook business page with put downs about my needing to have a second job because no one will use my services twice among other nasty uncalled for comments. There was no call for this at any time but especially after the transaction already closed. This is causing me a lot of emotional distress and triggering my PTSD and I don’t deserve that. I have even discussed filing an anti harassment order with my attorney if this continues. It’s really unfortunate and I hope others will not work with a company with such unprofessional employees."
"It isn't often that I deal with a company that leaves a bad taste, but this one most definitely has. I have been a notary public for many years and accepted a signing from this company just shy of a year ago. During the back and forth emails with them, I still have not received payment for the services provided. They are indicating that a notary agreement is sent out with every file in order to receive payment within 21 days after the signing has been completed. Outside of the fact that I have always returned files exactly as I have received them, this company in their own words, knows they are well past due in paying for services provided. Unprofessional in their response. They clearly know they are in the wrong and should simply apologize for 'the over-site' and state they will get it taken care of right away. Instead, they are trying to say they did nothing wrong. Really?!?!?! Even by your own words, you are still in violation."
"I have been a signing agent for the past 4 years and this company has always been on point. They always try to work with my schedule and pay on time each month. I LOVE working with them and they always nice to talk with on the phone. Mahalo guys for all you do!!!"
"Momma always told me that if you dont have anything nice to say about someone to not say anything at all. I will report that their website description is deceptive: "Our proprietary database of certified notary and attorney signing agents are second-to-none. Our signing agents have extensive experience" Their database is not their own, and is definitely not proprietary. The database is signingorder.com. They pay a subscription fee to use this database along with several other competitors in the same markets."
"This company was sent to notarize paperwork on a home sale. The notary was clueless about the paperwork we were signing. Unprepared and basically just handed over papers for us to sign with no explanation of what we were signing. We’ve dealt with notaries at least a dozen times and this was by far the worst experience we’ve had."
