"The Gard Theater is charming and provides a convenient outlet for local theatrical entertainment without having to travel to the hustle bustle of an urban area. What the Gard lacks, however, is a thorough cleansing of decades' worth of accumulated issues, which all aging buildings contain. To accomplish such a cleansing would likely be cost prohibitive though and, in some instances could detract from some of its charm. Overall the Gard Theater is a welcoming place that doesn't break the bank and provides weekend theatrical entertainment to children of all ages."

"This is a beautiful small town theater. It operates as a non profit, so the tickets are very reasonable! They have a good selection of movies."

"The tickets, food, and drink are all extremely cheap but still quality. A few years back me and my friends were getting sick from the butter flavor on the popcorn. We brought up these concerns and they changed products, I wasn't really expecting that but it was very kind of them. If you are having issues with the way someone is behaving the staff members take that very seriously and will make sure that the issue is handled. They keep the theater and the restrooms clean. On multiple occasions I have been watching a movie and bats will swoop down from the ceiling, that's really the only issue that I've ever had."
