"What a relief! These days service and quality are often neglected in favor of atmosphere. Not here, just off a horrible service experience we were hesitant to try the Starlite. Upon arrival, the floor manager immediately engaged us, heard our recent disappointing experience, brought us to the service bar to hand mix several sample cocktails whereupon we chose to take a single seat at the bar. He continued to check on us and offered a table, should we like. He even stopped by again to check how I liked my martini. Our bartender was a sensation, to say the least. Professional, courteous and engaging plus demonstrated excellent balance and craftsmanship of cocktails. All of this with expansive cityscape views and great music, that's not too loud."
"strong contender for the best rooftop bar in the city, and is definitely the top hotel bar around union square. very cool vibes, music was good not great, martini was outstanding but did take some time to get to the table"
"We stayed at the Beacon Grand Hotel and during breakfast out in the city we were recommended and told that the Starlite has one of San Francisco’s best mixologist. They were right, definitely stop by if you want to check out the city from the 21st floor, have amazing drink and tasty treats but I definitely recommend reserving a table ahead of time. We got there at 10:20pm got on the wait list and didn’t get a table for 1:30 minutes. The first 30 minutes we had to kinda linger around the bar because the wasn’t any seats and no real areas to hang out while you wait for a table. But once bar seats opened up it was great. Service was fast, friendly and entertaining. We were there on Saturday so it was expected that they would be busy. Ones we got the table it wasn’t be best placing but I can’t complain it was a fun experience just expect to spend 100-200$"
"This place truly is a luxury experience! The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially if you can reserve a table during the sunset so you can enjoy the day and night view as well. The food portions are small, but absolutely delicious, and the cocktail menu is top-knotch. The staff is friendly and helpful. Keep in mind, reservations are highly recommended and walk-in standing bar space is limited."
"Gorgeous restaurant and bar on the top floor. Sweeping views, cozy seats dark romantic vibes. Attentive staff extensive drink menu. Super swanky $$$"
