"We asked about staying at the hotel next door and they told us the room would be $147 for a night. Regular room. Weekday. We checked out Nichols. So much cheaper and pleasantly surprised. This was a couple months ago. We just stayed there again and was still a wonderful place to stay. Clean rooms, quiet, wonderful breakfast, and the staff were so friendly and nice! Highly recommend this hotel!!"

"We were traveling through Red Wing and decided to stop for the night. The hotel was a great price. The rooms were clean and the staff super friendly and accommodating. Shaun was the front desk attendant and was super awesome! Very friendly and made us feel at home. He gave us extra warm towels and blankets. Thank you Shaun for everything!! I would definitely come back again. The room was clean and it was easy to get to."

"My stay was great! My room was perfectly clean and had everything I needed. The grounds were clean and well lit at night. I especially want to say that Diamond was quite nice and accommodating. Whenever I passed the front desk she was present and working, but always stopped to say hello and ask how things were going. Surprisingly, she was there day and night through my entire visit. Because of her great personality, and the cleanliness and hospitality I’ll be staying here again. I have a booking at another place in Red Wing in June which I will be changing to the Nichols!"
