"Great experience when staying at the beginning of February! All the staff was so kind, housekeepers, breakfast attendant, and front desk reps. The breakfast was good and always offered a hot meat & eggs (the gluten free population greatly thank you for this!!). The pool and hot tub were so enjoyable! The location was convenient and quiet. Beds were comfy & our room was clean! Will return when visiting Stillwater again!"
"Stayed for a work trip and almost met our expectations. The room met our expectations and staff was willing to try and fix any issues. My only complaint really was the hot tub. It was not really useable because the water was luke warm. We asked the staff if it could be fixed and I think they tried, but ultimately it was still luke warm and had a gritty feeling to it. I hope they are able to fix it as I plan to come back to the area for future stays."
"Rude encounter with front desk employee. Our family arrived tonight, Christmas Eve, after a long trip through bad weather. It was agreed that we were all excited to use the pool and hot tub. Especially our 11 year old. We got checked in and headed almost immediately to the pool and were the only occupants. After only about 30 seconds of us entering the water, a male stormed in without introduction and yelled that nobody under 18 is allowed in the pool after 10!!! He then slammed the door and stormed off. We hadn't even thought about that being a rule. It was only 10:02 at best. And I get it. A rule is a rule. But seeing as he was under our supervision, and we were the only ones in there, how about maybe introducing yourself and have a little compassion through the process of kicking us out. Merry Christmas. Definitely recommend staying somewhere else."
"Stay somewhere else y'all! Where to start.......We booked a two night stay for this past weekend numerous months ago, checking in on a Friday and departing on a Sunday for a wedding. When we arrived to our room on Friday afternoon, it was evident that turn over service and overall maintenance of the rooms could use some work. There were crumbs, stains, dirt, and wrappers from previous guests in the drawers and even on the fabric surfaces of the pull out couch and chair. Outlets were broken and missing screws, walls had scuffs, the ceiling had a mysterious stain....lovely right? Understanding we choose to stay at a notorious 2-star hotel, we realize there would be some general grace to be given. We overlooked all that when arriving to our room on Friday night, because again, grace can be given. Saturday morning I work up to realize that the comforter we were given on our bed had obviously not been washed between guests and still had food/body stains on it. Disgusted, we pilled our bedding in a ball and asked the front desk worker if housekeeping could change our bedding. She told us yes, of course, and that when they arrived in 8 minutes at 9am we would be first on their list. Amazing, problem solved...we went on with our day in town. We arrived back at our room at 11:30am to see the bedding had not been changed. No worries, people get busy so I asked the housekeeping worker in the hallway outside our room to change the bedding please. She was very nice and said she would help. My husband and I went down to the lobby to wait and I let the same front desk worker know the bedding wasn't changed. She was shocked and very apologetic then went to go check on the room. 20 minutes later she returned to tell us the bedding was changed....awesome! We went back up to our room and nope....bedding was not changed so back downstairs we go again. I let the front desk gal know it still wasn't changed and by that point was just ready to change my own bedding. The front desk gal was very apologetic, claiming a language barrier between her and the cleaning staff and ended up changing the sheets herself. 20 minutes go by and she then told us our room was ready...again....so we returned upstairs to see two housekeeping staff in the room cleaning the room, bathroom and floors meaning, no, the room was not ready and we had to go back downstairs to the lobby AGAIN. An additional 20 minutes go by and one of the housekeeping gals found us in the lobby to let us know the room was in fact ready. So we hiked it back up to the "ready" room..again....to see the same crumbs/dirt on the couch/chair from when we checked in and to find that the bed didn't have a blanket. So there I go back down again to the front desk, to ask for a blanket. One worker ended up giving me a blanket she "thought" was for a king bed...it was for a queen, but at that point we were ready to simply check out and not stay the night. During the process the front desk worker said she was calling her manager and the General Manager for this location to see how we could be compensated for this inconvenience we were experience preventing us from utilizing our room. Her manager told her that because we had a multiple night reservation, hotel policy is that bedding isn't changed between nights. I let her know I understood that policy, but I had asked for new bedding because the bedding we were provided was dirty from previous guests. She then called an off duty manager and were were only offered "extra points at our next nights stay". Literally comical. We spent over $450.00 for two nights in a dirty room in a two star hotel then were offered "extra points" at our next stay. No, there will not be another stay at this hotel or another Radisson/Country Inn & Suites. The "extra points" are pointless and a refund for one nights stay should and needs to be given. Language barriers aside, having clean rooms and ones without safety hazards such as broken outlets is the literal bare minimum when staying at a hotel ESPECIALLY for what we paid for those two nights."
"This is a very nice hotel. The room was clean and bright, the furnishings were quite nice and comfortable. The fresh cookies and coffee in the reception area were exceptional. The front desk clerk could have been a lot more helpful and/or knowledgeable than he was, though."
