"Nice building the architecture is interesting. The acoustics are terrible though. Made it hard to hear our presenter."
"Lots of parking, clean place, and if you have that love to dance, they can take ballet, tap, jazz, etc, at this place!"
"What a great neighborhood venue where in the past I have heard Cajun and other kinds of live music streaming out the open doors while dancers danced. And, as part of my regular exercise walk, i really appreciate the 100 year old trees in the large front lawn, including a carob tree out back planted by Kate Session when the park was first laid out. Unfortunately the Zoo paved over the Succulent garden for the north end of their parking lot. And thank god the Zoo was not permitted to tear this all down and put in more heat absorbant black top about 20 years ago. The grove of Ficus and other trees in front and to the north of this lovely building are some of the nicest shade trees in the much paved over park..."
"As of July 2019 the place is looking better and better feel. They went through a few custodians. The African/American woman that was there last night 7-24-19, was great. The floors were buffed the sun hit it and I could tell someone took some pride in it. I walked around the corner and she was on her hands and knees scrubbing the flashing where the wall and floor met. I told her she was doing a great job. She smiled and said she loves her job. She is appreciated by all the Finest City Squares squaredance club. Thank you for all your hard work and letting us dance there."
"Nice place to attend a reasonable dance and listen to live music! We danced a couple of hours to High Life Cajun Band and enjoyed ourselves quite a lot. We checked out the window displays on WWII and found them educational. Plenty of parking for the event and the bathrooms were clean with toilet paper."
